يوسف — Yusuf Ayat 38
وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ اٰبَاۤءِيْٓ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَۗ مَا كَانَ لَنَآ اَنْ نُّشْرِكَ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۗ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ
Wattaba‘tu millata ābā'ī ibrāhīma wa isḥāqa wa ya‘qūb(a), mā kāna lanā an nusyrika billāhi min syai'(in), żālika min faḍlillāhi ‘alainā wa ‘alan-nāsi wa lākinna akṡaran-nāsi lā yasykurūn(a).
"And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah. That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful."
