الزخرف — Az-Zukhruf Ayat 8

فَاَهْلَكْنَآ اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا وَّمَضٰى مَثَلُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ

Fa ahlaknā asyadda minhum baṭsyaw wa maḍā maṡalul-awwalīn(a).

"And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded."
