الزخرف — Az-Zukhruf Ayat 23
وَكَذٰلِكَ مَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِيْ قَرْيَةٍ مِّنْ نَّذِيْرٍۙ اِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوْهَآ ۙاِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ اٰبَاۤءَنَا عَلٰٓى اُمَّةٍ وَّاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اٰثٰرِهِمْ مُّقْتَدُوْنَ
Wa każālika mā arsalnā min qablika fī qaryatim min nażīr(in), illā qāla mutrafūhā, innā wajadnā ābā'anā ‘alā ummatiw wa innā ‘alā āṡārihim muqtadūn(a).
"And similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following.""
