النّور — An-Nur Ayat 12

لَوْلَآ اِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوْهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتُ بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًاۙ وَّقَالُوْا هٰذَآ اِفْكٌ مُّبِيْنٌ

Lau lā iż sami‘tumūhu ẓannal-mu'minūna wal-mu'minātu bi'anfusihim khairā(n), wa qālū hāżā ifkum mubīn(un).

"Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say, "This is an obvious falsehood"?"
